Beating Future Olympians
In the 2011 José "Cheo" Aponte International final, Bravo defeated Robson Conceição — the man who would win Olympic gold in 2016. He added Pre-Olympic gold in Trinidad & Tobago (2012), medals in the Dominican Republic, and silver at the Wilfredo Gómez Cup, finishing his amateur career 62-8.
Turning Pro in Puerto Rico
February 21, 2015 — Coliseo Pancho Deida, Hatillo. A first-round knockout in his pro debut. Within his first year he was fighting on Mega TV and DirecTV, the island's newest knockout artist.
The Undefeated Rise
From Hatillo to Kissimmee to San Juan, Bravo ran his record perfect — televised on Telemundo, DirecTV and Wapa TV. In March 2019 he captured the vacant WBC Latino Lightweight title at Coliseo Rafael G. Amalbert in Juncos.
The Big Stage
Premier Boxing Champions on FS1. Pay-per-view from Atlantic City. Then October 26, 2022 at Coliseo Roberto Clemente — a TKO of Adrian Yung to become WBO NABO Super Lightweight Champion in front of his people.
The Setback — and the Statement
A razor-thin split decision in March 2025 handed Bravo his first loss. Ten months later he walked into Barclays Center and erased every doubt — a second-round left-hook KO of Pedro Campa that made highlight reels worldwide. 24-1. Next stop: Campeón Mundial.
